CTAS Writing Support provides
academic support services for students enrolled in Basic English (BE) reading
and writing courses at Queensborough Community College. BE students can meet
with a tutor or attend a workshop or clinic in our L-113 location. They can
also improve their reading and writing skills using learning software in the
CWC Computer Lab in H-236.
TutoringInformation:
With one-on-one and small group tutoring available, BE students get the focused
attention they need to move ahead. Each tutoring session lasts 50 minutes and
fulfills one hour of required tutoring or one lab hour. Students may also visit
for additional tutoring sessions, beyond what is required.
