Faculty Resources at CTAS Writing Support

Classroom Presentations

Don't have time to bring your students to us during class ? You can also arrange to have a Writing Support tutor visit your classroom.

We will give a short overview of our services (5-10 minutes), distribute flyers, and answer students' questions.

To request a presentation, please contact Joe Labozzetta by e-mail or 718-631-6663. Indicate your first and second choices of dates and times for the presentation. Also let us know where your classroom is located and when it meets, and if you have any special writing-related requests (i.e. MLA or APA style handouts).

**We encourage you to introduce CTAS Writing Support to your students early in the semester. Our availability for classroom presentations is better, and also it is more beneficial for your students to know about our services sooner in the writing process. This way, individual students can visit us at whatever point(s) of the assignment they find particularly challenging.
