WELCOME TO YOUR QUEENSBOROUGH CC WIKI!
Mission
The purpose of QCC CETL’s Queensborough Wiki is to provide
each academic department and its faculty an active base of communication
and information on topics and activities of interest
within and among disciplines.
The term “wiki” is from the Hawaiian, “wiki wiki,” meaning “quick” or “hurry hurry.”
Thus, on the internet, a wiki is a place to go to for getting information in a hurry.
Unlike most formal websites on which basic information
is relatively fixed, a wiki is intended to provide basic information but,
as well, to be a fluid, ever-growing repository of new information
and instructional tools shared among its users.
Exploring, learning, and contributing,
each department and each faculty member will have one quick
and easy place to go to, anywhere and any time,
for continued excellence in teaching and learning.
