In-Center Class Visits
your entire class to the
CampusWritingCenter! Each semester, many English and WI instructors arrange to bring
their classes to visit the
during class time. Usually one hour in length, these
in-center class visits introduce students to our services and
resources, and give students an opportunity to work with a writing tutor on a
writing assignment in small groups.
In-center class visits are most effective for your students, and easiest to
schedule, when they happen early in the
semester. Most importantly, our records show that many students return
on their own for one-on-one tutoring after they have come with a class.
If you bring students early in the writing process, they will be ready to
come back for assistance on whatever aspect or stage of writing most challenges
