can visit us for one-on-one sessions with a
writing tutor on a one-time or
regular weekly basis. Another tutoring option is to submit a paper draft for
feedback online through our
iPASS e-tutoring system. The
WritingCenteralso runs test-prep workshops, for qualifying students, for the CATW and ATB Writing Objective exams.
QCC instructors take advantage of
our services with in-center class visits.
Available for one- or two-hour increments during regular
hours, class visits are an excellent way to introduce students to the
WritingCenterand have them work with a tutor on a writing assignment in small
groups of 2-4 students. Another popular option is to have a
WritingCenterrepresentative visit your class to give a 5-minute overview of our
services. For more information or to request a class visit, contact Joe Labozzetta.
