Campus Writing Center

The Campus Writing Center provides a wide range of free resources and support for student writers and QCC instructors. We are open six days a week (Monday-Saturday) year-round, including January and the summer sessions.

Services available for students include:
  • One-on-one tutoring sessions for writing and reading
  • Online feedback on paper drafts through our TigerWrite e-tutoring system
  • CATW test-prep workshops
  • Reading Strategies workshops
  • English Conversation Hour
  • Grammar clinics, and much more!

Services available for faculty include:

Many QCC instructors take advantage of our services with in-center class visits . Available for one-hour increments during regular Writing Center hours, class visits are an excellent way to introduce students to the Writing Center and have them work with a tutor on a writing assignment in small groups of 2-4 students. Another popular option is to have a Writing Center representative visit your class to give a 5-minute overview of our services. For more information or to request a class visit, contact Joe Labozzetta.

Please see our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section for more details about Campus Writing Center services.
