BE11 CATW Writing Prep Workshop policy:

Writing Center workshops are 24-hours long over 6 days. Preparing you successfully for the CUNY Assessment Test in Writing (CATW) is something we take seriously. We know you do, too! You are expected to attend the workshop each day for all the hours that section runs.

Remember, if you are registered for a course for which a Pass in Reading and Writing is required you will not be allowed to take it unless you have passed both exams, first.  CUNY now requires that you continue remediation for the CATW each semester until you pass. So, do not delay preparing for the CATW or it may affect your ability to register for future classes. Not showing up for a workshop, arriving late or missing days CAN AFFECT YOUR SCHEDULE. So, please check your personal, work and class schedules carefully to avoid a conflict with your workshop! Passing the exam is the goal of your workshop experience. We know you agree!
