CUNY & CWC Writing Workshop policy:
CUNY requires that to be eligible to re-take the Writing test you must attend ALL days and hours of the workshop. That means if you’re absent or late for sessions you cannot complete the workshop, cannot re-take the exam and will need to sign up for a later session, if available. There are no make-up sessions. Remember, if you are registered for a course for which a Pass in Reading and Writing is required you will not be allowed to take it unless you have passed both exams. Not showing up for a workshop, showing up late or missing days CAN AFFECT YOUR FALL SEMESTER SCHEDULE. So, please check your personal, work and class schedules carefully to avoid a conflict with your workshop! Passing the exam is the goal of your workshop experience. We know you agree!
